Papa Clem's first crop are Runners!

Look for his 2nd crop of 76 2yr olds of 2014!

Papa Clem By leading sire Smart Strike, sire of Horse of the Year Curlin, champion turf horse English Channel, and Looking at Lucky, Papa Clem is an exciting addition to the California Stallion roster.

He defeated 3yr old champion Summer Bird in the Arkansas Derby and was a very troubled 4th in the Kentucky Derby. His female family speaks of three generations of top Graded stakes horses and the Hirsch family breeding program. His dam, Miss Houdini, was a Grade 1 winner in her 2nd start, the Del Mar Debutant. Papa Clem's 2nd dam, the brilliantly fast Magical Maiden, was also a Grade 1 stakes winner at two in the Hollywood Starlet. More on Papa Clem »

(Mar 18, 2014) - "Papa's Flashy Girl" won the Scottsdale Handicap going a mile on the turf @ Turf Paradise on Saturday. "Papa's Trashed" won going a mile @ Golden Gate on Sunday as well as "Ornery Strike" winning the 3rd race going 5 furlongs. This makes 14 winners from 22 starters for Papa Clem!
